Welcome

Pilates is a gentle form of exercise which builds strength, tones and stretches the body. It is entirely safe, even during pregnancy and is recommended for people with back or neck problems and sports injury. The end product is a perfectly balanced body with strong, well defined muscles, good posture and joint mobility.

Lindsay Rose specialises in mat and machine-based Pilates using specially designed equipment, incorporating springs and pulleys which gently increase muscle resistance.

Sessions are held in a purpose built Studio in the Old Stables, part of the Global Diagnostics Clinic at Colney Hall. This light, stylish Studio surrounded by woodlands and gardens is only ten minutes from the centre of Norwich, near the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital

Please browse the pages to find out more about the Pilates method: how it evolved, what it involves and why it is the buzzword in the fitness world today.

The site also highlights my philosophy as a teacher and you can find details of the classes I run and answers to some frequently asked questions.
